This isn't a jewelry counter. Every piece was made by a person, for a reason, and comes with the story that goes with it.
The pieces
Made during a stretch of months when I lived out of a suitcase. Beaded slow, a few rows a night, in a different room every week.
I made the first pair sitting across from my mother while she talked and I listened. That's still how I make them.
For the season after everything fell apart, when the only honest thing I could say about myself was that I was still here.
